Minerstat integration

Minerstat Data API: live crypto mining data. List and look up mineable coins (price, network hashrate, difficulty, block reward, confidence score), a coin's network history, mining hardware with spec sheets, algorithms with their coins and benchmarked devices, and mining pools with fees and payout schemes; on the Enterprise plan, rank coins by daily mining profit for a device or hashrate. Every call needs an API key, sent in the X-Api-Key header; a Free-plan key costs nothing and needs only an email sign-up with Minerstat. Plans: Free 100 requests per month with every list capped at 20 rows, Developer 5,000, Enterprise 100,000 (per-minute limits 10, 60 and 120); over quota answers 402, over the rate limit 429. Per the API terms, responses may be cached up to 24 hours only (no long-term storage or mirroring), displayed data needs a visible "Data by Minerstat" attribution with a link back, and commercial use needs the Enterprise plan. The legacy v2 API (coins, hardware and pools in the old format) is not exposed: it is deprecated and retires on 2026-12-31.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Minerstat.Built from the 10 Minerstat tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Minerstat

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Algorithm, 2 operations

  • get_algorithmGet algorithmGETGets one algorithm by slug (from list_algorithms): the coins using it and the hardware benchmarked on it with hashrate and power.
  • list_algorithmsList algorithmsGETLists mining algorithms with their hashrate unit and number of active coins. Page with limit and offset.

Coin, 2 operations

  • get_coinGet coinGETGets one coin by slug (from list_coins): every list field plus website, explorer, consensus type and supply.
  • list_coinsList coinsGETLists active mineable coins with market, network and freshness data (price, hashrate, difficulty, block reward, confidence). Page with limit and offset.

Hardware, 2 operations

  • get_hardwareGet hardwareGETGets one mining device by slug (from list_hardware): identity, release date, rated power and the full manufacturer spec sheet.
  • list_hardwareList hardwareGETLists mining hardware (ASIC, GPU, CPU, FPGA) with manufacturer, model, power draw and release date. Page with limit and offset.

Pool, 2 operations

  • get_poolGet poolGETGets one mining pool by slug (from list_pools): per-coin fees, payout schemes and minimum payouts.
  • list_poolsList poolsGETLists mining pools with default fee, number of coins served and last liveness check. Page with limit and offset.

History, 1 operation

  • list_coin_historyList coin historyGETLists historical network snapshots (difficulty and hashrate) for one coin, newest first, at most 100 points per call. Page with limit and offset.

Profitability, 1 operation

  • list_profitable_coinsList profitable coinsGETEnterprise plan only. Ranks coins by daily mining profit for a device (hardware) or a hashrate plus algorithm, after electricity cost. Other plans get HTTP 403.

Use Minerstat from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Minerstat in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Minerstat operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Minerstat

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Minerstat once

Add your Minerstat connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
