Manifestly integration
Manifestly runs recurring checklists and SOPs: start runs from workflow templates, complete, skip, assign and comment on run steps, fill data fields, record approval decisions, list a user's assignments, edit workflow templates (steps, content blocks, data fields), manage Data Tables and holiday calendars, read activity history, departments, roles and team members, and subscribe webhooks. Not exposed: the inbound email that started a run and its attachments, the CSV export (its only output is a download link), and webhook edits (delete and re-create instead); webhook target URLs (outside a workflow template export, which carries the workflow's hooks as stored), avatar images, asset URLs of step content and API self-links are not returned. Authentication: a Manifestly API v2 API key (a master admin creates it under Account Settings, Integrations), sent as Authorization: Bearer <key>. API access is included in every paying plan and in the trial. Calls act as the account and are recorded as its API key, never as a named person. Manifestly's API policy requires OAuth 2.0 for any action that must be attributed to a specific user, including actions an AI agent performs on a user's behalf; this integration offers only the account API key, so it suits account-level automation, not actions that must be credited to a person. Some routes need a feature on the account (business calendars, data tables, approvals) and answer 403 without it; write routes need an admin role in the department concerned. Rate-limited calls answer 429 with a Retry-After header.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Manifestly
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Workflow, 6 operations
archive_workflowArchive workflowPOSTArchives a workflow for real: it CLOSES every scheduled or started run of it and DELETES its scheduled runs. unarchive_workflow does not bring those runs back. Already archived answers 422.get_workflowGet workflowGETGets one workflow template with its roles and steps (paginated by steps_page and steps_per_page).import_workflow_templateImport workflow templatePOSTCreates a new workflow for real in a department from a JSON template (as produced by export_workflow_template). Check it first with validate_workflow_template.list_workflowsList workflowsGETLists workflow templates with id, title, tags, step count and roles. archived=true lists ONLY archived ones (the only way to find one to unarchive). Filter by search, tag or department; paginated.unarchive_workflowUnarchive workflowPOSTMakes an archived workflow (found with list_workflows archived=true) usable again with its shares. It does NOT reopen the runs archiving closed nor restore deleted scheduled runs.update_workflowUpdate workflowPATCHUpdates a workflow template's title, description, holiday calendar or business-day rule. Leave out a field to keep it. The calendar keys need their feature (403 without); a locked shared copy is refused with 422.
Workflow step, 6 operations

A locked shared copy answers 403, a version-controlled workflow 409.delete_workflow_stepDelete workflow stepDELETERemoves a step from a workflow template for real (it is deactivated, as in the editor). Deleting a section removes the steps inside it. Default: top-level steps only; mode=flat or hierarchy lists every step. Paginated with page and per_page (max 100).reorder_workflow_stepsReorder workflow stepsPATCHReorders a workflow's steps: steps must list every active step exactly once in the new order, a section's steps right after it. Returns the new structure.update_workflow_stepUpdate workflow stepPATCHEdits a workflow template step; keys left out are kept. Future runs only. A step linked to a step library answers 422 (remove it with delete_workflow_step instead).

Connect Manifestly in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Manifestly operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Manifestly once
Add your Manifestly connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
