Mailmodo integration
Mailmodo is an email marketing platform for interactive (AMP) and HTML emails. Send a triggered campaign email to one contact with personalization data and repeatable block content, broadcast a triggered campaign to a whole contact list, start or abort an email journey for a contact, add contacts to lists one at a time or 100 per call, read a contact's details and subscription state, unsubscribe, resubscribe or update a contact's email-type subscriptions, remove a contact from a list or archive it, record custom events, and list contact lists, campaigns with their summary reports, and templates. The send, broadcast and journey tools email real people (so can adding a contact to a list that triggers a journey), and contacts are personal data. Left out: the dynamic form variant of the send route, whose form definition is not documented field by field. Authentication is a Mailmodo API key (Settings, API Keys) sent in the mmApiKey header.

The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Mailmodo
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Abort, 1 operation
abort_journeyAbort journeyPOSTStops a running journey for a contact, by email address or by the instance id that start_journey returned, so no further journey emails go out.
Add event, 1 operation
add_eventAdd eventPOSTRecords one custom event for a contact (by email), such as a purchase, with string, number or boolean properties; events can drive journeys and segments. ts backdates the event.
Add to list, 1 operation
add_contact_to_listAdd contact to listPOSTAdds one contact to a list by list name, or updates its properties, without sending a campaign email. Joining the list also enrols the contact in any journey triggered by that list, which then emails that real person. Personal data.
Batch, 1 operation
bulk_add_contacts_to_listBulk add contacts to listPOSTAdds or updates up to 100 contacts in one list in one call (one call at a time, not in parallel). Contacts added this way do not enter list-triggered journeys. Partial failures come back per email with HTTP 207.
Bulktrigger campaign, 1 operation
broadcast_campaign_to_listBroadcast campaign to listPOSTSends a triggered campaign to every contact of a list or segment in one call; this emails real people. Personalization values in campaign_data are shared by all; missing ones come from each contact's properties.
Campaign, 1 operation
list_campaignsList campaignsGETLists every campaign of the account with its id, name, type (CONTACT_LIST for promotional, TRIGGERED for triggered and journey ones, told apart by creationSource), status, template id, email format, sender, subjects and times.
Campaign report, 1 operation
get_campaign_reportGet campaign reportPOSTReturns a campaign's summary numbers: sent, delivered, opens, clicks (AMP and HTML), form submissions, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes and blocks. The date range applies to triggered and journey campaigns only.
Contact, 1 operation
archive_contactArchive contactDELETEArchives (deletes) a contact by email address.
Get all contact list, 1 operation
list_contact_listsList contact listsGETLists the contact lists of the account with their id, name, creation date and number of contacts.
Get all template, 1 operation
list_templatesList templatesGETLists the account's active templates with id, name, format (AMP or HTML), email type, personalization parameters used, thumbnail link, creator and dates.
Get contact detail, 1 operation
get_contact_detailsGet contact detailsGETReturns one contact by email address: its identifier, properties, blocked and unsubscribed state with reasons, and the email types it is unsubscribed from. Personal data.
Remove from list, 1 operation
remove_contact_from_listRemove contact from listPOSTRemoves a contact from one list; the contact itself is kept.
Resubscribe, 1 operation
resubscribe_contactResubscribe contactPOSTRemoves a contact from the suppression list, so it can receive email again.
Start, 1 operation
start_journeyStart journeyPOSTAdds a contact to an email journey (automated sequence) built in Mailmodo, so the journey starts emailing that real person. Returns ref, the id of the journey instance (used by abort_journey).
Trigger campaign, 1 operation
send_campaign_emailSend campaign emailPOSTSends a triggered campaign's email to one recipient, personalised with data or campaign_data; this emails a real person. Optional overrides: subject, sender name, reply-to, and a list to add the contact to.
Unsubscribe, 1 operation
unsubscribe_contactUnsubscribe contactPOSTAdds a contact to the suppression list, so it receives no further email from the account until resubscribed.
Update subscription, 1 operation
update_contact_subscriptionUpdate contact subscriptionPOSTResubscribes a contact to some email types (such as Promotional or Transactional) and unsubscribes it from others. Not for a contact unsubscribed from everything: use resubscribe_contact then.
Use Mailmodo from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Mailmodo in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Mailmodo operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Mailmodo
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Mailmodo once
Add your Mailmodo connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
