Linkly integration

Linkly is a URL shortener for marketers. Create, update, bulk create, delete, restore and export short links with custom domains and slugs, UTM tags, retargeting pixels, Open Graph previews, expiry and redirect rules (rotators, country and device redirects), read click analytics as a time series or grouped by country, referrer, device and other dimensions, manage custom domains, record and list conversions, and subscribe webhooks to a link or a workspace. Click counts grouped by IP address and conversion records describe real visitors and customers. Left out: listing existing webhook subscriptions (their URLs act as credentials), link passwords and per-link webhook URLs in answers, two duplicate legacy routes (add a domain, read a link with stats), and the CSV and TSV export formats. Authentication is a Linkly API key, from the API section of the Linkly settings, sent as a Bearer token; most calls also need a workspace ID, which list_workspaces returns.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Linkly.Built from the 22 Linkly tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Linkly

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Link, 6 operations

  • bulk_create_or_update_linksBulk create or update linksPOSTCreates or updates up to 1000 links in one call: each item without id is created, each with id is updated. Answers one result per item, in order; check each status, since the call succeeds even when some items fail.
  • create_linkCreate linkPOSTCreates a short link to a destination URL in a workspace, optionally on a custom domain and slug, with UTM tags, pixels, Open Graph preview, expiry and redirect rules. Returns the link with its full short URL.
  • delete_linkDelete linkDELETEMoves one link to the workspace trash; restore_links brings it back. Deleting a link already in the trash also succeeds.
  • delete_linksDelete linksDELETEMoves several links to the workspace trash in one call; restore_links brings them back.
  • get_linkGet linkGETReturns one link: destination, short URL, UTM tags, redirect rules, pixels, expiry and other settings. Click counts are not included (use get_clicks or list_links).
  • update_linkUpdate linkPOSTUpdates an existing link: send its id, its workspace_id and only the fields to change; Linkly keeps the fields left out. Returns the updated link.

Webhook, 4 operations

  • subscribe_webhook_to_linkSubscribe webhook to linkPOSTSubscribes a URL to one link's events: Linkly will POST every click, plus link.updated and link.deleted, to that URL. Returns the subscribed URL, which is also its hook id.
  • subscribe_webhook_to_workspaceSubscribe webhook to workspacePOSTSubscribes a URL to events for every link of a workspace: Linkly will POST each click, link.created, link.updated and link.deleted to it. Returns the subscribed URL, which is also its hook id.
  • unsubscribe_webhook_from_linkUnsubscribe webhook from linkDELETEStops sending one link's events to a webhook URL.
  • unsubscribe_webhook_from_workspaceUnsubscribe webhook from workspaceDELETEStops sending a workspace's events to a webhook URL.

Domain, 3 operations

  • create_domainCreate domainPOSTAdds a custom domain to a workspace. Create a CNAME DNS record pointing to domains.linklyhq.com first.
  • delete_domainDelete domainDELETERemoves a custom domain from a workspace. Links on that domain stop working.
  • list_domainsList domainsGETLists the custom domains of a workspace, usable as domain when creating links.

Conversion, 2 operations

  • create_conversionCreate conversionPOSTRecords a conversion (sale, lead or custom event) and attributes it to the link click identified by linkly_cid. Without a usable attribution it is discarded (attributed false). Needs a plan with conversion tracking.
  • list_conversionsList conversionsGETLists a workspace's conversions (sales, leads, custom events attributed to link clicks), newest first; with since or after, oldest first for paging. Records can carry your customer identifiers.

Click, 1 operation

  • get_clicksGet clicksGETReturns click counts over time for a workspace (per day or per hour), optionally for one or several links and filtered by date range, country, browser, platform, referrer or ISP, bots and unique clicks.

Counter, 1 operation

  • get_click_countersGet click countersGETCounts a workspace's clicks grouped by one dimension (country, city, platform, referrer, link, UTM tag, IP address and more), highest first, at most 10,000 groups. remote_ip, city and region groups expose visitors' IP addresses and locations.

Export, 1 operation

  • export_linksExport linksGETExports every link of a workspace as JSON, with click totals, optionally narrowed by a text search.

Favicon, 1 operation

  • update_domain_faviconUpdate domain faviconPATCHSets the favicon image URL of a custom domain. Only the favicon changes.

List link, 1 operation

  • list_linksList linksGETLists the links of a workspace, 1000 per page by default, with destination, short URL, UTM tags and click totals (lifetime, 30 days, today, human-only). Supports text search, exact-match filters and sorting.

Restore, 1 operation

  • restore_linksRestore linksPOSTRestores trashed links by id, rebuilding each short URL. A link whose short URL is now taken by a live link is skipped and listed under conflicts.

Workspace, 1 operation

  • list_workspacesList workspacesGETLists the Linkly workspaces the API key can access, with their id and name. Most other tools need one of these workspace ids.

Use Linkly from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Linkly in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Linkly operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Linkly

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Linkly once

Add your Linkly connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
