Integration

KuCoin Futures integration

KuCoin Futures public market data: list every tradable futures contract with its specification, funding rate, mark and index prices, read one contract, get the latest ticker of one or all contracts, the full or top 20/100 order book, the last 100 trades, candlesticks, the current mark price, and the history of the spot index, interest rate and premium indexes, plus the server time and service status. Trading, positions and account routes are not exposed: they need an HMAC request signature. No credential is needed; KuCoin applies per-IP rate limits to public routes.

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in KuCoin Futures.Built from the 14 KuCoin Futures tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with KuCoin Futures

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Contract, 2 operations

  • get_contractGet contractGETReturns one futures contract's specification and live data (mark and index prices, funding rate, open interest, 24h volume and price change) by its symbol.
  • list_contractsList contractsGETLists every tradable futures contract with its specification (symbol, lot size, tick size, multiplier, margins, fees, max leverage) and live data (mark and index prices, funding rate, open interest, 24h volume).

Order book, 2 operations

  • get_full_order_bookGet full order bookGETReturns the full order book of one futures contract, aggregated by price. KuCoin rate-limits it strictly; prefer get_order_book (top 20 or 100 levels).
  • get_order_bookGet order bookGETReturns the top 20 or 100 price levels of one futures contract's order book (bids high to low, asks low to high, each [price, size]). Faster and lighter than get_full_order_book.

Ticker, 2 operations

  • get_tickerGet tickerGETReturns the latest ticker of one futures contract: last trade price, size and side, best bid and ask price and size.
  • list_tickersList tickersGETReturns the latest ticker of every futures contract: last trade price, size and side, best bid and ask price and size.

Interest rate index, 1 operation

  • list_interest_rate_indexList interest rate indexGETReturns the interest rate index history of an interest symbol (fundingBaseSymbol or fundingQuoteSymbol from get_contract, such as .XBTINT8H). Up to 100 records per call.

Kline, 1 operation

  • list_klinesList klinesGETReturns candlesticks of a contract or index symbol at a granularity in minutes, at most 500 per call; page with from and to. Each candle is an array of numbers starting with start time (ms), open, high, low, close, volume.

Mark price, 1 operation

  • get_mark_priceGet mark priceGETReturns the current mark price and index price of one futures contract (snapshot updated once per second).

Premium index, 1 operation

  • list_premium_indexList premium indexGETReturns the premium index history of a premium symbol (premiumsSymbol1M or premiumsSymbol8H from get_contract, such as .XBTUSDTMPI). Up to 100 records per call.

Server time, 1 operation

  • get_server_timeGet server timeGETReturns the KuCoin Futures API server time as a Unix timestamp in milliseconds.

Service status, 1 operation

  • get_service_statusGet service statusGETReturns the KuCoin Futures service status: open (normal trading), close (trading stopped or maintenance) or cancelonly (only order cancellation allowed).

Spot index price, 1 operation

  • list_spot_index_pricesList spot index pricesGETReturns the spot index price history of an index symbol (indexSymbol from get_contract, such as .KXBTUSDT), with each record's component exchanges, prices and weights. Up to 100 records per call.

Trade, 1 operation

  • list_tradesList tradesGETReturns the last 100 trades of one futures contract, each with its price, size, taker side, maker and taker order ids and time.

Use KuCoin Futures from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect KuCoin Futures in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its KuCoin Futures operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.
