IssueBadge integration
IssueBadge is a digital certificate and badge platform. List your badge templates and create new ones with a logo, issue a badge or certificate to a person (IssueBadge emails the recipient and returns a public verification page), list and read issued credentials with recipient names and emails (personal data), and create, update, delete and read the scans of dynamic QR codes whose destination can change after printing. Left out: the API key check, the OAuth token route and organization management (absent from the vendor's OpenAPI). Authentication is an API key generated in IssueBadge's developer settings (the key is shown once), sent as a Bearer token.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with IssueBadge
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Qrcode, 4 operations
delete_qr_codeDelete qr codeDELETEDeletes a dynamic QR code. Printed copies of it stop redirecting.get_qr_codeGet qr codeGETReturns one dynamic QR code: name, type, active state, scan count, scan URL and image URL. The content of the code is not returned (for a wifi code it holds the network password).list_qr_codesList qr codesGETLists your dynamic QR codes, optionally filtered by type, with their name, active state, scan count, scan URL and image URL. The content of each code is not returned.update_qr_codeUpdate qr codePATCHChanges a dynamic QR code's name, content (its destination) or active state. The code, its scan URL and the printed image never change, so codes already printed follow the new destination.
Create, 3 operations
create_badgeCreate badgePOSTCreates a badge template from a name, a description, a logo image file (jpeg, png, jpg, gif or svg, at most 2 MB), the issuing organization's name and an idempotency key. Returns the new badgeId, ready for issue_badge.create_qr_codeCreate qr codePOSTCreates a dynamic QR code: the printed image points to an IssueBadge redirect, so the destination can be changed later with update_qr_code and every scan is counted. Returns the code, its scan URL and image URL.issue_badgeIssue badgePOSTIssues a badge to one person: IssueBadge records the credential, sends the recipient a notification email when email is given, and returns the IssueId and the public verification URL.
Get, 2 operations
get_issued_badgeGet issued badgeGETReturns one issued badge or certificate: recipient name, email and phone (personal data), badge, organization, issue and expiry dates, serial number, memo, custom field values and the public and PDF URLs.list_issued_badgesList issued badgesGETLists issued badges and certificates, filtered by badge, recipient name or recipient email (partial match). Returns recipient names and emails (personal data), the badge, issue date, and the public and PDF URLs, with pagination.
Getall, 1 operation
list_badgesList badgesGETLists the badge templates of your IssueBadge account (at most 100), each with its id and name. Pass the id to issue_badge to issue that badge to a person.
Image, 1 operation
get_qr_code_imageGet qr code imageGETReturns the image of a dynamic QR code as a file, PNG or SVG, at the size you choose (100 to 2000 pixels per side, 500 by default).
Scan, 1 operation
list_qr_code_scansList qr code scansGETLists the scans of a dynamic QR code, newest first, each with its time and referring page, plus the code's total scan count.
Use IssueBadge from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect IssueBadge in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its IssueBadge operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect IssueBadge
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect IssueBadge once
Add your IssueBadge connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
