HPE Aruba Networking Central integration
HPE Aruba Networking Central (the current Central on HPE GreenLake, not Classic Central) monitors and troubleshoots campus and branch networks. Read access points, radios, WLANs, switches, stacks, gateways, tunnels, uplinks and VLANs with health and utilization trends; list clients, applications, IDPS threats, WIDS events, network events, audit logs, firmware and upgrades, sites, topology and floor plans; work alerts, insights, notification rules, webhooks, GDPR exclusions and reports; ping a host from a device. Client, user, event, threat and audit records carry personal data (user and host names, MAC and IP addresses). Left out: the configuration APIs, show commands (their output can print the device configuration with its WLAN and RADIUS keys) and every route that reboots, halts, locates, bounces ports or PoE, disconnects clients, cable-tests, speed-tests or runs ping sweep, traceroute, nslookup, HTTP, TCP, AAA or ARP tests on a real device, deleting devices, floor plan and asset tag edits, AP ranging scans, client location and mobility trails, transition manager, telemetry streaming, webhook HMAC key rotation, report updates, deprecated AirMatch routes and some finer per-port, per-radio and per-tunnel trends. Authentication: a Central API client ID and secret (HPE GreenLake, Manage Workspace, Personal API clients) exchanged for 2-hour tokens; the API host depends on the cluster of your account.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with HPE Aruba Networking Central
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Each badge shows the default agent permission of an endpoint (allowed: an agent calls it without asking; ask first: you are asked before an agent calls it, when the agent or chat asks permission for sensitive actions; never: no agent may call it), which every user can change endpoint by endpoint in their credential settings.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
