HigherGov integration

HigherGov is a government contracting intelligence platform. Search US federal, state and local contract opportunities (SAM.gov, DLA DIBBS, SBIR, grants) and their documents, federal prime contracts, IDVs, grants, subcontracts and subgrants, state and local contract awards, contractor (awardee) registrations, teaming and mentor-protege relationships, contract vehicles, grant programs, NSNs and the NAICS and PSC code lists, and read your own account's pursuit pipeline. Every tool is a paged read (page_number, page_size up to 100); a search saved on highergov.com can be replayed with its search_id. Every subscription includes 10,000 records per month through the API (each returned record counts); more needs a deal with HigherGov. Not exposed: the people (government contact) directory, and person-level fields are not returned (contracting officers, awardee points of contact, state and local award contacts, awardee street addresses), nor document download links (they expire after 60 minutes). Authentication is an API key sent as the api_key query parameter; only an account administrator can create one (gear icon, API, Generate Key, shown once).

What you can do with HigherGov

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
