Hastewire integration

Hastewire rewrites AI-generated text so it reads as human-written and scores how likely a text is to be AI-generated. An agent can humanize a text in a chosen style (standard, academic, reddit or formal), language and strength, run AI detection on a text, read the account's prepaid balance and rates, read billed usage per day, and check the public service status. Humanize and detect are billed per word against the prepaid credit balance; the other calls are free. Authentication is an API key from the Hastewire dashboard (Account, API Keys), sent as a Bearer token.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Hastewire.Built from the 5 Hastewire tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Hastewire

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Text, 2 operations

  • detect_ai_textDetect ai textPOSTScores how likely a text is to be AI-generated. Billed per word (1 credit per 80 words). Returns data with the document's ai_probability and classification, plus sentence-level scoring.
  • humanize_textHumanize textPOSTRewrites AI-generated text into natural, human-sounding prose, keeping meaning and formatting. Billed per word (1 credit per 20 words); under 4 words the text comes back unchanged and free. Returns humanized_text.

Account, 1 operation

  • get_accountGet accountGETReturns the account behind the API key: email, prepaid balance (cents and USD), words that balance still pays for, the billing rates, and the calling key's name and dates. Free, not billed.

Service status, 1 operation

  • get_service_statusGet service statusGETReturns Hastewire's public service status: overall status (operational, degraded or down), per-service status of the dashboard and API humanizer and detector, 7-day uptime, hourly history and server counts. Free, needs no credit.

Usage, 1 operation

  • get_usageGet usageGETReturns billed API usage across all the account's keys over the last N days: requests, cents charged and words, in total, per operation (humanize, detect) and per UTC day. Never returns past texts. Free.

Use Hastewire from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Hastewire in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Hastewire operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Hastewire

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Hastewire once

Add your Hastewire connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
