Hana integration
Hana is an AI team assistant that lives in Google Chat. Ask Hana for an answer to a message history and read the result, post messages into the Google Chat spaces Hana belongs to, add messages to report groups and read them back, save texts to Hana's memory and list memory batches, create tasks, create approval requests and read their outcome, list users, spaces and approvals, read the organization, and fetch a web page as Markdown (PRO plan). The routes that read one user or read and delete one memory batch are not exposed. Authentication is an API key from the Hana API connector in the Hana dashboard, sent in the X-API-KEY header with the HANA- prefix (added for you); disconnecting the connector invalidates the key.

The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Hana
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Approval, 2 operations
get_approvalGet approvalGETReturns one approval with each approver's action (APPROVED, REJECTED or NO_ACTION), the default action and the expiry date, to decide the outcome after create_approval.list_approvalsList approvalsGETLists the approvals of the organization with their approvers, approver actions, default action and expiry date.
Report message, 2 operations
create_report_messageCreate report messagePOSTAdds a message to an existing report group, so that Hana can answer questions and write summaries about it in Google Chat. The report group must already exist (report groups are created in the Hana dashboard).list_report_messagesList report messagesGETLists the messages of a report group, optionally filtered by text and by a creation time window.
Batch, 1 operation
list_memory_batchesList memory batchesGETLists the memory batches of the organization, filtered by type, status, level or text, with their ingestion status and number of chunks.
Completion, 1 operation
create_chat_completionCreate chat completionPOSTStarts a Hana answer to a message history and returns its messageId with completionStatus IN_PROGRESS. The answer itself is read with get_chat_completion_status once completionStatus is COMPLETED.
Create approval, 1 operation
create_approvalCreate approvalPOSTCreates an approval request for the given approvers, optionally posted as a card in a Google Chat space. Approvers answer in the Hana dashboard or the Google Chat card; read the result with get_approval.
Create google chat message, 1 operation
send_google_chat_messageSend google chat messagePOSTPosts a message through Hana into a Google Chat space Hana has been added to. Google Chat formatting applies; returns the text that was posted.
Get url content, 1 operation
get_url_contentGet url contentGETFetches a web page and returns its readable text in Markdown. Available only to organizations on the PRO plan.
Memory, 1 operation
create_memoryCreate memoryPOSTSaves a text to Hana's memory as a new memory batch, which Hana then uses in its answers. Organization roles such as ADMIN and DOMAIN_OWNER may create organization memory; a warning lists similar memories that may already exist.
Organization, 1 operation
get_organizationGet organizationGETReturns the organization the API key belongs to, with its plan, purchased seats, country, website, language and Hana feature settings.
Report group, 1 operation
list_report_groupsList report groupsGETLists the report groups of the organization, with their title, creator and number of messages.
Space, 1 operation
list_spacesList spacesGETLists the Google Chat spaces Hana has been added to, with their spaceId (spaces/...), name, type and Hana settings.
Status, 1 operation
get_chat_completion_statusGet chat completion statusGETReturns completion status records: with messageId, the one completion request; without it, the recent requests of the key owner. When completionStatus is COMPLETED the answer is in completionResponse. Records are deleted after 3 hours.
Task, 1 operation
create_taskCreate taskPOSTCreates a task in the organization, with optional description, status, priority, due date, assignees, tags and sprint.

Use Hana from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Hana in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Hana operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.
claude mcp add --transport http livecontext https://livecontext.ai/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"[mcp_servers.livecontext]

}
}How to connect Hana
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Hana once
Add your Hana connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
