Integration

Getty Images integration

Search and read the Getty Images and iStock catalog with an API key: search creative and editorial images and videos by phrase and filters (orientation, color, people, composition, date, event, collection), find images or videos similar to a catalog asset or from the same shoot, search news, sports and entertainment events, browse an artist's images and videos, and read full metadata (caption, artist, collection, license model, keywords, preview URLs) for images, videos and events by id. Without an access token, results equal an anonymous search on the Getty Images site. Downloads, licensing, boards, purchases, usage reporting, asset change notifications and AI image generation need an OAuth access token on top of the API key, which this connection cannot send, so they are not included; the deprecated combined image search and the restricted image-match search are left out too. Authentication is the API key issued by Getty Images (through your account representative), sent in the Api-Key header.

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Getty Images.Built from the 20 Getty Images tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Getty Images

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Getty Images from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Getty Images in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Getty Images operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect Getty Images

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Getty Images once

Add your Getty Images connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
