flex Open API integration

flex (flex.team) is a Korean HR platform, and its Open API is read-only. Read the organization (departments, department heads, job roles, ranks, titles, levels and groups, holidays, custom property definitions), employees (employee numbers, profiles, departments and titles, leaves of absence, daily changes, cost centers, business places), working time (schedules, clock events, time-off uses, annual leave balances) and payroll postings (journal entries for salary and severance pay). Answers carry employees' personal data; only records with a code set in flex (employee number, department or job code) appear, work and leave can only be changed in flex's own apps, and the API serves 1 request per second. Employee bank accounts and family details are not exposed, and resident registration numbers are removed from profiles. Authentication is OAuth2 client credentials: a flex admin issues a Client ID and Client Secret in flex's Open API settings (Client Credential method, on a plan that includes the Open API) and picks the information the credential may read; LiveContext requests the short-lived access token itself.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in flex Open API.Built from the 22 flex Open API tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with flex Open API

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Each badge shows the default agent permission of an endpoint (allowed: an agent calls it without asking; ask first: you are asked before an agent calls it, when the agent or chat asks permission for sensitive actions; never: no agent may call it), which every user can change endpoint by endpoint in their credential settings.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use flex Open API from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect flex Open API in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its flex Open API operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect flex Open API

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.
