Integration

Files.com integration

Files.com is a managed file transfer and cloud file platform. With this API an agent can browse, download, upload, copy, move, zip, lock and comment on files and folders; manage users, groups and folder permissions; create and email share links and file requests; set folder email notifications; and run and monitor automations, syncs and expectations (file arrival monitors). Uploads and downloads use the single-request transfer, fine for ordinary files. List tools return one page of up to 10,000 records (the next-page cursor is sent only in a response header). Not exposed: API keys, sessions, user passwords, SSO, SCIM and 2FA, user and group IP allow-lists, billing permission, remote servers, mounts and their credentials, secrets, GPG, SSH and AS2 keys (and the GPG encrypt, decrypt and transform file actions), user and key lifecycle rules, user requests, site settings, styles, custom domains, IP and DNS settings, billing and usage, workspaces, partners, child sites, inboxes, behaviors, clickwraps and form field sets, snapshots and restores, metadata categories, schedules and holiday calendars, AI tasks, event and webhook settings, exports, the multi-part upload flow, and the security, protocol and request logs. Share link URLs and codes, download links, automation webhook URLs, IP addresses and visitor registrations are not returned. Authentication is a Files.com API key (a site-wide key or a user's key) sent in the X-FilesAPI-Key header; each call acts with that key's permissions. Each account includes a daily API call allowance; exceeding it may require a plan upgrade.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Files.com.Built from the 109 Files.com tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Files.com

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

How to connect Files.com

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Files.com once

Add your Files.com connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
