Fathom AI Notetaker integration

Fathom is an AI notetaker that records, transcribes and summarizes Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls. List recorded meetings with filters (date, recorder, team, invitee domain, meeting type), read a recording's AI summary and full speaker-labelled transcript, request a downloadable video or audio file, list teams, team members and users with their permissions, and create or delete webhooks that push new meeting content. Results contain personal data: attendee names and emails, what each person said, and CRM contacts. The webhook signing secret is not returned. Authentication is a per-user API key (Fathom settings, API Access) sent in the X-Api-Key header; it reaches only meetings that user recorded or that were shared with them or their team.

The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Fathom AI Notetaker.Built from the 11 Fathom AI Notetaker tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Fathom AI Notetaker

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Download, 2 operations

  • get_recording_downloadGet recording downloadGETReturns the status of a download started with request_recording_download (processing, completed, failed or expired). When completed, video or audio carries a short-lived signed url, content type, size and expiry.
  • request_recording_downloadRequest recording downloadPOSTStarts generating a downloadable file of a recording and returns download_id and status. Audio-only recordings may already be completed; for video, check get_recording_download until status is completed to get the signed file URL.

Webhook, 2 operations

  • create_webhookCreate webhookPOSTCreates a webhook: Fathom POSTs each new meeting's content to destination_url for the recording scopes in triggered_for. At least one of include_transcript, include_summary, include_action_items or include_crm_matches must be true.
  • delete_webhookDelete webhookDELETEDeletes a Fathom webhook so no more meeting content is sent to its URL. Answers with no body on success.

Meeting, 1 operation

  • list_meetingsList meetingsGETLists Fathom meetings the key can see, newest first, with title, recording_id, times, invitees and recorder. Optionally adds transcript, AI summary, action items, highlights and CRM matches. Returns personal data (names, emails, speech).

Meeting type, 1 operation

  • list_meeting_typesList meeting typesGETLists your organization's meeting types, active and inactive, with name, status and creation date. Pass a returned name as meeting_type to list_meetings to filter meetings by type.

Summary, 1 operation

  • get_recording_summaryGet recording summaryGETReturns the AI summary of one Fathom recording as Markdown (summary.markdown_formatted). If destination_url is sent, Fathom POSTs the summary there later and this call returns only that URL.

Team, 1 operation

  • list_teamsList teamsGETLists the teams in your Fathom organization with name and creation date. Team names are the values list_meetings accepts in teams[] and list_team_members accepts in team.

Team member, 1 operation

  • list_team_membersList team membersGETLists members of your Fathom organization's teams with name, email and creation date, optionally for one team. Returns personal data (names and emails).

Transcript, 1 operation

  • get_recording_transcriptGet recording transcriptGETReturns the full transcript of one Fathom recording: each line with speaker name (and matched invitee email), text and HH:MM:SS timestamp. Personal data. If destination_url is sent, Fathom POSTs it there instead.

User, 1 operation

  • list_usersList usersGETLists every user of the Fathom account (active, deactivated, then invited) with name, email, status and settings and view permissions. Admin only: 403 unless the key's user has account_admin settings access. Personal data.
