Dispatch integration

Dispatch (dispatchit.com) is a same-day local delivery service with vetted couriers. Price a delivery, place one or many orders (each a real, charged courier booking), track orders and deliveries with their status history, proof photos and signee, edit contacts or cancel before a driver is assigned, and read invoices. Dispatch Connect customers also manage their own fleet: deliveries, vehicles, drivers, daily manifests, branches and users. The webhook test route is not exposed (webhooks are configured in Dispatch's Developer Settings), nor the demo environment. Authentication is HTTP Basic with your Dispatch API Key as username and API Token as password.

What you can do with Dispatch

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Order, 7 operations

cancel_orderCancel orderPOSTCancels an order. Dispatch refuses once a driver is assigned (status assigned or later) and answers already_cancelled for an order already cancelled. Returns the order with its new status.
create_orderCreate orderPOSTPlaces a real delivery order: Dispatch assigns a courier and charges the order (quote it first with estimate_order). Returns order_id, status and tracking links. Pass an Idempotency-Key to make retries safe.
create_orders_bulkCreate orders bulkPOSTPlaces several real delivery orders in one call; each is charged like one create_order. Returns the created orders and, in errors, each order that failed and why. Tags are not supported here.
estimate_orderEstimate orderPOSTPrices a delivery before placing it: returns the available service options (asap, expedited, ...) with estimated cost, estimated delivery time and the geocoded stops. Places nothing and charges nothing.
get_orderGet orderGETReturns one order with its status, cost, assigned driver and current coordinates, and its deliveries (stops, proof photos, signee) and tags.
list_ordersList ordersGETLists your most recent orders, at most 50 per page, with their deliveries and tags. Filter by status, a text search (q) or a date (updated_after, created_after); combine filters freely. Read total_pages and pass page.
update_orderUpdate orderPUTEdits contacts, notes and tracking recipients of an existing order. Dispatch requires the three objects delivery_info, pickup_info and drop_off_info in every call; read the order with get_order first and resend the values you keep.
