Daymet Single Pixel integration

Daymet Single Pixel, from NASA's ORNL DAAC, returns daily surface weather estimates on a 1 km grid for one latitude and longitude in North America (about 14.5 to 52 degrees north, 53 to 131 degrees west), from 1980 to the latest full calendar year: minimum and maximum temperature, precipitation, shortwave radiation, vapor pressure, snow water equivalent and day length. Ask for whole years or a date range and pick the variables you need; each answer also gives the grid cell's elevation and the dataset citation. The browser preview, chart and CSV-download pages are not exposed (the same data comes back as JSON here). No credential is needed.

What you can do with Daymet Single Pixel

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

  • get_daily_weatherGet daily weatherGETReturns daily Daymet weather for one point in North America: per day the year, day of year and each requested variable (temperature, precipitation, radiation, vapor pressure, snow water, day length), plus the cell's elevation.

Use Daymet Single Pixel from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Daymet Single Pixel in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Daymet Single Pixel operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.
