ComPDF integration

ComPDF (by KDAN) processes documents in the cloud. Convert PDF to and from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, RTF, text, CSV, JSON, Markdown, OFD and images; make scanned PDFs editable with OCR; merge, split, extract, insert, delete and rotate pages; compress, watermark, encrypt and decrypt PDFs or convert them to PDF/A, PDF/X, PDF/E or PDF/UA; compare two PDFs; generate PDFs from HTML or templates; and extract or parse document data with AI. Each tool uploads one file (merge takes 2 to 5, compare and insert 2), processes it synchronously and answers with a download link valid 24 hours. HTTP 200 can carry a failure: read code, "200" on success. Processing consumes the account's ComPDF quota (AI extraction and parsing are billed per page); get_asset_info shows what is left. The vendor recommends this synchronous mode for files up to 10 MB that process in under 60 seconds. Not exposed: the asynchronous and pre-signed upload modes, per-file page ranges and passwords on merge, the watermark index list of tagged removal, and the image_type and content_filter options of parsing (two vendor pages disagree on them). Authentication: the project's Public Key from the API Keys section of the ComPDF console, sent in the x-api-key header.

What you can do with ComPDF

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Each badge shows the default agent permission of an endpoint (allowed: an agent calls it without asking; ask first: you are asked before an agent calls it, when the agent or chat asks permission for sensitive actions; never: no agent may call it), which every user can change endpoint by endpoint in their credential settings.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
