Integration

CloudRF integration

CloudRF models radio propagation for any radio, anywhere. Plan coverage heatmaps for one site or many, analyse point-to-point links, test routes and mesh networks, predict HF skywave links, model satellite and spot-beam coverage, find the best site in an area, map interference between networks, geolocate a signal from power readings, model 3D coverage inside a building, search the satellite database, and manage clutter, noise readings and templates. Calculations return URLs to PNG, KMZ, GeoTIFF and shapefile layers plus link figures. Archive listing, export and deletion, super-layer merging and best-server queries are not exposed. Authentication is your CloudRF API key sent in the key header.

Ask it in chat

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in CloudRF.Built from the 31 CloudRF tools below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with CloudRF

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Area, 3 operations

  • calculate_area_coverageCalculate area coveragePOSTComputes a coverage heatmap around one transmitter out to output.rad km and returns URLs to the layer (PNG, KMZ, GeoTIFF, shapefile, GeoJSON), its bounds, covered area and colour key.
  • calculate_hf_areaCalculate hf areaPOSTComputes an HF skywave coverage heatmap from one transmitter for a given month and hour and returns URLs to the layer (PNG, KMZ, GeoTIFF and more), its bounds and colour key.
  • calculate_satellite_areaCalculate satellite areaPOSTModels coverage from one or more satellites, named as in search_satellites, at a given time over a bounded area and returns URLs to the layer, its bounds and the satellites' positions.

Create, 2 operations

  • create_noise_dataCreate noise dataPOSTStores measured noise floor readings for locations; calculations then use them when output.nf is set to database.
  • create_templateCreate templatePOSTStores a new custom template (transmitter, receiver, feeder, antenna, model, environment and output settings) to reuse in later calculations.

Delete, 2 operations

  • delete_clutterDelete clutterGETDeletes one private clutter item by its id from get_clutter. An id of 0 deletes ALL clutter on your account.
  • delete_templateDelete templatePOSTDeletes one of your custom templates by its id.

Favourite, 2 operations

  • favourite_templateFavourite templatePOSTMarks a system template as a favourite on your account.
  • list_favourite_templatesList favourite templatesGETLists the system templates your account has marked as favourites.

Get, 2 operations

  • get_clutterGet clutterGETLists your private clutter items within about one decimal degree (roughly 120 km) of a point, nearest first, up to 100 items, with their ids for delete_clutter.
  • get_noise_dataGet noise dataPOSTReturns the average noise recorded over the last 24 hours around each requested location, for a frequency, bandwidth and radius.

Template, 2 operations

  • get_templateGet templateGETReturns a template's full settings (transmitter, receiver, antenna, feeder, model, environment, output), by custom template id or system template name.
  • list_templatesList templatesGETLists the custom templates created by your account, with their ids and names for get_template and delete_template.

3d, 1 operation

  • calculate_3d_coverageCalculate 3d coveragePOSTModels 3D propagation inside a building or tunnel model uploaded with upload_3d_model (reflections, material losses, several transmitters) and returns URLs to the glTF result and a live viewer.

Add, 1 operation

  • add_clutterAdd clutterPOSTUploads GeoJSON line and polygon features (buildings, trees and other obstacles with a height and material) as private clutter on your account, used by calculations with obstacles enabled.

Bsa, 1 operation

  • find_best_siteFind best sitePOSTBest site analysis: grades hundreds of random transmitter locations in an area with a GPU Monte Carlo run and returns URLs to a heatmap of the best places (PNG, KMZ, GeoTIFF and more).

Clear, 1 operation

  • clear_noise_dataClear noise dataPOSTDeletes stored noise readings matching a name, group name or frequency (partial name matching optional). With no filter it deletes your noise data.

Interference, 1 operation

  • calculate_interferenceCalculate interferencePOSTCompares previously calculated signal sites with jammer (noise) sites to map the jamming-to-signal ratio, and returns URLs to the layer and the share of the area above each J/S level.

Map, 1 operation

  • get_noise_mapGet noise mapGETReturns an 8-bit greyscale GeoTIFF of stored noise for a frequency and bounding box, where each pixel is the absolute noise floor in dBm.

Multilink, 1 operation

  • calculate_multilinkCalculate multilinkPOSTTests every radio of a mesh against every other in one fast call and returns received power per link, keyed tx->rx (radio indexes by default). Send radios, or transmitters plus receivers.

Multisite, 1 operation

  • calculate_multisiteCalculate multisitePOSTRuns many area coverage calculations in one GPU request and returns them merged into one composite super layer (URLs to PNG, KMZ, GeoTIFF and more, bounds, area).

My metric, 1 operation

  • get_usage_metricsGet usage metricsGETReturns your API usage over the current purchase period: total requests, a count per calculation type, a daily time series and the calculations remaining since your last purchase.

Path, 1 operation

  • calculate_path_profileCalculate path profilePOSTAnalyses one point-to-point link from a transmitter to a receiver and returns the path profile: distance, terrain, Fresnel zone, obstructions, received power and path loss along the path, and a KMZ link.

Point, 1 operation

  • calculate_pointsCalculate pointsPOSTTests many transmitter positions against one receiver in a single call, for route or drive-test analysis, and returns per-point results with a KMZ and a JSON metadata link.

Prediction, 1 operation

  • predict_hf_linkPredict hf linkPOSTPredicts an HF point-to-point link from a transmitter to a receiver for a given month, giving SNR over a range of frequencies and hours to find the usable band (MUF and LUF).

Query, 1 operation

  • search_satellitesSearch satellitesGETSearches CloudRF's satellite database (over 6000 active satellites, refreshed from a third-party source) by name or NORAD catalogue number and returns each match with its orbit and TLE.

Spotbeam, 1 operation

  • calculate_spotbeamCalculate spotbeamPOSTComputes ground coverage of a satellite spot beam defined by azimuth, elevation and altitude as seen from the receiver, centred on the receiver, and returns URLs to the layer and its bounds.

System, 1 operation

  • list_system_templatesList system templatesGETLists the names of the system templates (ready-made radio and antenna presets) available to every account.

Trilateration, 1 operation

  • trilaterate_signalTrilaterate signalPOSTGeolocates a signal from received power at previously calculated sites (including sites that heard nothing) and returns a PNG of the likely area with its bounds and size in km2.

Unfavourite, 1 operation

  • unfavourite_templateUnfavourite templatePOSTRemoves a system template from your account's favourites.

Upload, 1 operation

  • upload_3d_modelUpload 3d modelPOSTUploads one GLB building or tunnel model to your account for calculate_3d_coverage, and returns the stored file name, a viewer URL and your storage use.

Use CloudRF from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect CloudRF in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its CloudRF operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

How to connect CloudRF

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect CloudRF once

Add your CloudRF connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
