Benzinga is a financial market data API. Read news (also the press release and Why Is It Moving feeds) and quantified news analytics; calendars of earnings, dividends, splits, IPOs, offerings, M&A, guidance, economic releases, FDA events, conference calls and corporate events; analyst ratings, consensus, insights and bull and bear cases; unusual options activity, block trades, earnings reaction gaps, market movers, short interest, delayed quotes and price bars; SEC insider transactions, US congressional trades, trending tickers, company fundamentals and ratios, logos, and earnings call transcripts with summaries. Access is licensed per data product (contact Benzinga licensing), so a key may be refused on products outside its subscription; paging cannot go past 10,000 results; over the rate limit the API answers 429. Not exposed: the WebSocket streams and data webhooks, the transcript editing and status routes, older versions of the calendar, quote and fundamentals routes, and four routes whose response Benzinga does not document (trading halts, asset classification, earnings reports, news channel list); call recordings, webcast links and dial-in numbers are not returned. Authentication is the Benzinga API key, sent as the token query parameter.
