BC Gov News integration

BC Gov News is the Government of British Columbia's public newsroom service. Read the latest news releases, stories, factsheets and updates site-wide or for one ministry, sector, tag or theme, fetch any post with its full HTML text, convert a NEWS-##### reference into a post, and list ministries, their ministers, sectors, tags, themes, newsletters, home page slides and resource links. No credential is needed. Media contact names, phone numbers and emails, minister contact details and slide images are not returned, and the News on Demand email subscription routes (subscribe, update, unsubscribe, confirm) and image download routes are not exposed. The BC Data Catalogue lists this API as Access Only: the content is copyright Province of British Columbia and may be read, but not reproduced or redistributed without the Province's written permission, so quote it briefly and link to the post instead of republishing it.

What you can do with BC Gov News

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
