Asters integration
Asters is an AI-driven social media automation suite for brands. Read your Asters workspaces, the social accounts connected to each (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), their labels, the posts of a social account with their media and links, and per-post analytics (likes, comments, saves, reach, plays, interaction rate) over a date range. The API is read-only; the Autopilot post-generation routes, which use another token header and an undocumented body, are left out. Authentication is an API key generated in Asters (Settings, API keys), sent in the x-api-key header. Asters answers a missing or wrong key with HTTP 200, empty data and an error field: check error before trusting an empty list.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Asters
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.
Post, 2 operations
list_post_analyticsList post analyticsPOSTLists per-post analytics of a social account over a date range, page by page: likes, comments, saves, reach, plays, interaction rate, followers at publication. Read-only. Check error: a bad key answers 201 with empty data.list_postsList postsPOSTLists a social account's posts published in a date range, page by page: text, status, media (24-hour links), links, labels, public link, publish date. Read-only despite the POST. Check error: a bad key answers 201 with empty data.
Label, 1 operation
list_labelsList labelsGETLists the labels of a workspace (tags that can be applied to posts), with their ID, text and color. Check error: a bad key answers 200 with empty data.
Social account, 1 operation
list_social_accountsList social accountsGETLists the social accounts connected to a workspace: name, network (instagram, tiktok, x...), account type, whether the connection expired, post counts. account_id feeds list_posts. Check error: a bad key answers 200 with empty data.
Workspace, 1 operation
list_workspacesList workspacesGETLists the Asters workspaces the user owns, collaborates on or can access (allWorkspaces), with name, time zone and default flag; a workspace _id is the workspace_id of the other tools. Check error: a bad key answers 200 with empty data.
Use Asters from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Asters in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Asters operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.
claude mcp add --transport http livecontext https://livecontext.ai/mcp --header "X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"[mcp_servers.livecontext]

}
}
}How to connect Asters
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Asters once
Add your Asters connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
