AskNews integration

AskNews is licensed news intelligence for AI systems. Search real-time and archived news and podcasts with rich filters, read articles and clustered stories, build news knowledge graphs, run the DeepNews research agent, make LLM forecasts, search the live web, Reddit and Wikipedia, and create cron-scheduled alerts that email, call webhooks or write Google Docs when their condition is met. Publisher organizations can also read their article rankings and hit share. Calls are billed in credits or LLM tokens per the pricing page, several need a higher plan, and every plan has a request-rate limit. Storing bring-your-own LLM keys, indexing arbitrary URLs and the internal distribution analytics are not exposed. Authentication is an AskNews API key created at my.asknews.app with the scopes the calls need (news, stories, chat, profile; distribution for publisher keys), sent as a Bearer token.

What you can do with AskNews

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Alert, 6 operations
