Are.na integration
Are.na is a visual research and knowledge-collection platform built from channels (collections) and blocks (text, images, links, attachments, embeds). Read channels, blocks, users and groups and their contents, followers and connections; create, update and delete channels and connections, create and update blocks, add and delete comments; batch-import blocks; read your feed and notifications; manage groups, members and invitations; and search Are.na (search requires a Premium plan). The OAuth token exchange, the presigned file-upload route and the spec and health routes are not exposed. Authentication is a personal access token (are.na settings, Personal access tokens) or an OAuth2 access token, sent as Authorization: Bearer; most reads also work on public content, and writes need a token with the write scope.
Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.
What you can do with Are.na
Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.
Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Use Are.na from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
Connect Are.na in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Are.na operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

}How to connect Are.na
- Create your workspace
Sign up free. Nothing to install.
- Connect Are.na once
Add your Are.na connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.
- Describe the job in chat
The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
