ActiveTrail integration

ActiveTrail is an email, SMS and marketing automation platform. Manage contacts, groups and mailing lists, import contacts, create and send email and SMS campaigns, send transactional emails and SMS, read campaign reports (opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes), list and publish or pause automations, and read templates, sending profiles and credit balance. Left out: webhooks, social media accounts, Smart Code sites, e-commerce integration data, commerce orders and sales leads, automation step editing, landing pages, push and WhatsApp campaigns. Authentication is an access token created in ActiveTrail under Settings, API apps, sent as the Authorization header.

What you can do with ActiveTrail

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

Campaign, 7 operations

create_campaignCreate campaignPOSTCreates an email campaign for groups and schedules it: scheduling.is_sent true with a date sends it to real contacts at that time. Needs details, design and scheduling. Returns the campaign.

Contact, 7 operations

create_campaign_for_contactsCreate campaign for contactsPOSTCreates an email campaign addressed to specific contacts (by id or email) instead of groups. The request carries no schedule: treat it as sending emails to real people. Returns the campaign and its contacts.
create_contactCreate contactPOSTCreates a contact (email or sms required). It joins no group, so it cannot receive campaigns until added with add_group_member. Can send a double opt-in email first.
