Abstract IP Geolocation integration

Abstract's IP Geolocation API locates an IPv4 or IPv6 address: city, region, postal code, country, continent and coordinates, plus its time zone and local time, currency, country flag, a VPN or proxy flag and the network behind it (ISP, organisation, ASN, connection type). Use it to enrich sign-ups or logs, localise content or flag unusual logins. Every call spends one credit, failed ones included, and an IP address of a person can be personal data. Authentication is the IP Geolocation API key from the Abstract dashboard, sent as the api_key query parameter; each Abstract API has its own key.

Say what should happen.
The workflow builds itself.

When this happens, do that in Abstract IP Geolocation.Built from the 1 Abstract IP Geolocation tool below, on the connection you add once.

What you can do with Abstract IP Geolocation

Each of these is one operation on one endpoint, available both as a workflow step and as a tool an AI agent can call on its own. Nothing bundles several operations into one action, so what a run did stays readable afterwards.

Most endpoints run on the free plan. A few, mainly the ones that publish on your behalf, need a paid plan.

  • geolocate_ipGeolocate ipGETReturns the location of an IPv4 or IPv6 address (city, region, postal code, country, continent, latitude and longitude), its time zone and local time, currency, country flag, VPN flag and network (ISP, organisation, ASN, connection type).

Use Abstract IP Geolocation from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

Connect Abstract IP Geolocation in LiveContext, create an API key in Settings, then add the LiveContext MCP server to your client. Its Abstract IP Geolocation operations become tools the client can call, next to every other integration you connected.

Claude Code

How to connect Abstract IP Geolocation

  1. Create your workspace

Sign up free. Nothing to install.

  2. Connect Abstract IP Geolocation once

Add your Abstract IP Geolocation connection in Settings. Every tool from this integration reuses it, and secrets are encrypted at rest and visible only to you.

  3. Describe the job in chat

The workflow builds itself in front of you and picks the endpoints it needs. Drag the steps yourself on the canvas whenever you would rather be explicit.
